Daylily - Kathy Perkins

Kathy Perkins
(Pearce-G 2011)

  • 6" Pink/Peach with a rosy halo and gold throat. The large size, striking white midribs, and slightly bitone sepals make this flower stand out.
  • Always producing very robust foliage and scapes, it needs extra space and is quick to multiply. It deserves its apt but loving 'man-eater' status. Kathy Perkins blooms for a very long period of time due to high bud counts and bud building plus northern rebloom. Easily fertile both ways she passes on the same strong plant and bloom habits to her offspring. It is befitting to name this flower in honor of a lovely lady who enjoyed pink and looked so beautiful wearing it but who was taken from her family and friends much too early in life.
  • 32" scape with 5 branches and 26 buds, Mid w/Rebloom, Semi-Evergreen, Tet (Betty Pate X Elizabeth Salter)
  • Seedling #97-01-12
  • $15 DF
