Daylily - Heather on the Moor

Heather on the Moor
(Pearce-G 2025)

  • 8.5" Mauve purple with bluish lavender watermark and partial midrib above a yellow to green throat. Unusual form crispate. The color of Heather on the Moor is unusual and difficult to describe but if you ever see the heather blooming across the Scottish moors, you would know it well. It’s a lovely combination of pink and purple, with blue undertones mixed in.
  • The tall scapes are nicely displayed above beautiful dormant foliage. The large unusual form flowers have been generous in sharing those blue undertones with offspring in my quest for ever bluer daylily flowers. Pod/pollen fertile.
  • 38" scape with 4 branches and 16 buds, Mid, Dormant, Tet (Sugar Plum Adagio x (White Eyes Pink Dragon x sdlg))
  • Seedling #17-25-01
  • $100 DF
